We, at 'The Unknown Truth', understand that our families and jobs come first! We understand that spouses may not appreciate the long times (and sometimes cash) one can spend on a hobby such as this when you are serious and dedicated. Even though we do understand some situations, we have a list of guidelines that are required to be a part of the team. If you are not able to follow or accept these guidelines we ask that you re-think your dedication, curiosity or interests in the paranormal and the possible declination of your application. With that said, we are looking for others who really want answers or proof of the paranormal and are willing to spend some time to find just that! If you are absolutely certain that you have something to offer the team, we ask you to apply anyway. If, for some reason, you cannot accept some of the guidelines please contact us so we can discuss it further. These requirements do not ask much on your part, but get us all on the same page concerning what we expect of each other.
* 1. I understand, that at no time, will I expect or ask to be compensated for my time spent, travel costs, equipment use etc.

I understand, that 101% honesty and integrity within the team and everyone else while representing the team, is an absolute, non-negotiable requirement to be a part of 'The Unknown Truth' Investigation Team. I understand, that if I'm found to break this requirement at any time I will be immediately removed from the team!

* 6. I understand, that 99.8% of "orbs" caught on digital cameras are NOT of the paranormal, but rather very natural materials such as dust, pollen, moisture or bugs. I also understand that if I believe I've had that .2% chance of catching a "real orb" it will be presented to the team for review BEFORE published publicly.

* 8. I understand, that paranormal investigation requires plenty of patience! I understand that I could experience several investigations and many hours of work without experiencing any paranormal activity!

* 9. I understand, that technology can help us see and hear things that the human eyes and ears were not meant to. I understand, that I will supply, if possible, equipment for myself that will aid in any investigation. This equipment includes, but is not limited to: Digital Voice Recorder (NOT tape), Digital Camera (NOT film), Digital Video Recorder (NOT tape, dvd etc. but records to hard drive or memory cards), Digital Thermometer (NOT like grandma has hanging outside her kitchen window, but takes a constantly updating-immediate area reading), Digital EMF detector, Flashlights & Batteries!!!, First Aid Kit, weather specific clothing, extra pair of 'under-clothing' may be needed during some occasions... NOTE: Photo, Video and Voice recording equipment should have USB connection for easy transfer!
